A member of the Greatest Generation got to take to the skies Sunday.

Quentin Bendtsen, a 93-year-old veteran who served in both the Army and the Navy during World War II, took off from Crystal Airport in a restored World War II biplane.

Dream Flights, the organization that took Bendsten for the ride, is honoring veterans through September by taking them up in the air and sharing their stories for future generations.
