According to Maple Grove Fire and Rescue, police and fire officials responded to the area of Lawndale and Dunkirk lanes at about 7 a.m. after receiving the report of the crash. First responders found four people inside the compact sedan and started to administer medical aid.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene while the two children were taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Additionally, 23-year-old Colin Stanifer-Brown of Minneapolis was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive, Maple Grove police said.
