A Wisconsin man was arrested for driving under the influence with a child in the car early Saturday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
David Lee Boswell, 31, is facing charges for driving while impaired — his third offense — operating a vehicle with a revoked license, carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor bail jumping, deviating from traffic lanes and a child safety seat violation, according to a press release.
At 2:16 a.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper pulled Boswell over for leaving his lane on Highway 12/29 near 730th Street. He admitted to the trooper that he used illegal narcotics and appeared impaired, according to WisDOT. After field sobriety testing, he was arrested and taken to a hospital, then booked into Dunn County Jail.
The child in the car was 2-years-old and taken to the Dunn County Department of Human Services, according to WisDOT.
