The Wayzata Police Department said on Friday morning they have received multiple reports of thefts from motor vehicles.

According to authorities, the thefts have taken place in the city of Long Lake.

Police advise residents to remove any valuables from vehicles and lock the doors when parked. 

Residents should report any suspicious activity by dialing 911.
