Valleyfair announced Monday that it plans to hire about 1,000 workers for the 2021 season.

With that in mind, the amusement park will host a virtual National Hiring Day event on Saturday, March 13. Candidates can register online.

Valleyfair said job opportunities are available in all park operating areas, and the virtual hiring day will offer more information about available jobs while allowing for individual interviews with hiring teams.

"We've announced our plans to open on May 22nd, and we're excited to start building the teams that will provide our guests with a safe and fun experience this year," Raul Rehnborg, Valleyfair general manager, said. "Like many associates, my career started as a park services associate and helped pave the way for future career opportunities. Seasonal jobs can provide skills, experiences, memories and friends that can last a lifetime."
