The United States Postal Service (USPS) is offering both temporary and future-career employment opportunities throughout the Twin Cities metro area and beyond in advance of the service's largest mailing season around the corner.

USPS says they are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in beginning a career with the most trusted Federal Government Organization.

Applicants must be at least 18 (16-years-old with a high school diploma or GED) and be able to pass a thorough background check. A drug test will also be a condition of employment.

Many positions offer limited benefits and paid vacation time accrual.

In addition to city carrier assistants ($17.29/hour) and rural carrier associates ($18.56/hour), USPS is also hiring for the following positions throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

  • Mail handler assistant - $16.55/hour
  • Tractor trailer operator - $23.20 to $31.84/hour
  • Holiday city carrier - $17.29
  • Holiday clerk assistant - $18.15/hour
  • PSE mail processing clerk - $18.15/hour

Anyone who is interested may apply at USPS's website.
