Classes at the University of St. Thomas are all online but some students are still gathering to help in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These students are using the school's 3D printers to make medical supplies, such as face shields and masks.

One student told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS he got the idea while thinking about ways to help.

He put the word out and classmates responded.
