Four people were shot Thursday night on East Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis, police said.

At 9:46 p.m., Minneapolis police responded to multiple 911 calls of people hearing gunfire, according to Public Information Officer Cyndi Barrington.

On the 800 block of East Franklin Avenue, officers found two victims with gunshot wounds; they were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. As of Friday afternoon, that number rose to five people who were shot and one is in "very critical" condition, according to police. 

No arrests have been made at this time.
