The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened on Highway 280 in St. Paul Friday night.

According to a State Patrol crash report, it happened at about 6:43 p.m.

Southbound lanes of Highway 280 to Kasota Avenue will be closed for an extended amount of time, the State Patrol said.

No other information was immediately available.
