Police: 1 injured in Brooklyn Park shooting

The Brooklyn Park Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one victim injured Saturday night.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 7 p.m. on the 5700 block of Brookdale Drive, the department said. 

When officers arrived, they found one victim who had been wounded. Emergency responders provided medical aid before taking the victim to North Memorial Health Hospital. The victim's condition was not immediately available.

No suspects are in custody at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Brooklyn Park Police Department at 763-493-8222.
