The Plymouth Police Department has arrested a suspect involved in Wednesday evening's fatal hit-and-run crash.

Jack Henry Blaschke, 19, has been arrested and booked at the Hennepin County Jail for criminal vehicular homicide, pending formal charges by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.

The driver hit a pedestrian at about 8:55 p.m. Wednesday at County Road 24 and 32nd Avenue N. and fled the scene. The Golden Valley Police Department located the vehicle a few hours after the crash. 

The case remains under investigation.

Plymouth police are investigating what they are calling a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Wednesday night.

Police said the crash happened at about 9 p.m. near County Road 24 and 32nd Avenue North.

The Plymouth Police Department is currently looking for a black Sedan, possibly a 2009-2014 Acura TL, or a similar vehicle.

Police said the driver hit a pedestrian and left the scene.
