Pedestrian seriously hurt in Hopkins hit-and-run

A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Hopkins.
According to the Hopkins Police Department, a passerby reported around 9:20 p.m. that a pedestrian was hit at 5th Street South and 5th Avenue South.
Officers found a man who was seriously hurt on the scene. He was then rushed to the hospital.
Police say there weren't any witnesses at the time of the hit-and-run, so there is no information on a possible suspect.
