The man killed in a pedestrian crash Dec. 1 in Rosemount was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Rosemount resident Stephen Lee Andrews, 73, died from multiple blunt force injuries and his death was ruled an accident by the medical examiner Wednesday.

Just after 5 p.m., police responded to the intersection of 155th Street West and Chippendale Avenue and found unresponsive Andrews in the road. Emergency personnel performed lifesaving measures and called for an airlift to the hospital. The Life Link helicopter landed nearby to assist, but police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Rosemount Police Department and the State Patrol assisted with reconstruction.
