Officials continue work to identify recent Twin Cities arson suspects

Firefighters responded to 84 structure fires from May 27 to June 5 in Minneapolis, according to a report from the Minneapolis Fire Department.

According to the report released to KSTP Wednesday, the day during that timeframe that saw the highest number of structure fires in Minneapolis was May 30, with 26 fires.

Dozens of businesses were destroyed during recent civil unrest in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is seeking information that may help identify suspects in recent arsons. Those with information are asked to call 1-888-ATF-TIPS.
