New home for homeless veterans complete in North St. Paul

The latest Housing for Heroes project has opened.

The four-bedroom home opened in North St. Paul Thursday. The home was built by the Housing First Minnesota Foundation and Lennar.

Veterans are part of a growing population in need of housing services and the goal of this project is to help them rebuild their lives.

Community partnerships help provide stable housing for veterans in Minnesota

The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, a group that provides transitional housing services to homeless veterans, will help operate the house. The MACV offers 57 units of transitional housing in Minnesota.

The new house is across the street from the Veterans Park in North St. Paul.
