There was one new influenza-related hospitalization in the past week, bringing Minnesota's total to 36 since the start of the flu season.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, there have been five influenza-related deaths so far.
One additional long-term care outbreak was reported, bringing the state's total to four outbreaks. No new school outbreaks were reported. So far there have been three outbreaks in schools.
According to MDH, both influenza A and B are prevalent in Minnesota.
