Service has resumed on a timely schedule after Blue Line delays were reported due to mechanical issues with a train.

Metro Transit issued the update at about 11:30 a.m.

Blue Line delays were expected Friday morning due to mechanical issues with a train.

Metro Transit said delays of 15-20 minutes were reported southbound from the Lake Street Station and then northbound from the station near the Mall of America.

The train experiencing mechanical issues was being removed from service.
