Police say a man was shot while he was driving on an interstate in Minnesota overnight.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder said the man showed up at Hennepin County Medical Center with a gunshot wound that was not considered to be life-threatening.

The shooting reportedly happened on Interstate 94 near the area of Plymouth Avenue. The man told police he had no idea who would want to shoot him.

The investigation on the matter remains active.
