Man injured in New Hope shooting; Brooklyn Park school hit by bullets
A man was taken to a hospital and a Brooklyn Park school was damaged after a shooting in New Hope on Wednesday night.
Brooklyn Park Police said its officers helped New Hope police with a shooting near the intersection of Broadway and 62nd avenues in New Hope at 7:09 p.m.
Officers were told multiple people with guns were shooting and other agencies found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment and officers secured the crime scene.
No other injuries were reported but officers found bullet holes in Prairie Seeds Academy, a school near the scene.
An investigation is underway.
