Authorities are investigating after two small fires were found in a Minneapolis apartment building Saturday night.

According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews responded to a reported fire at an apartment building near Webber Parkway and Bryant Avenue N.

When they arrived, crews found small fires set in both of the stairways in the building. The flames were quickly extinguished and nobody was injured.

The department said the cause of the fire is intentional but doesn't appear to be related to any protests.
