Fire damages historic Borgstrom House in Morrison County, investigation ongoing

A fire at the historic Borgstrom House in Upsala, Minnesota, is under investigation.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Monday at about 10:41 p.m., a report was received indicating a fire at the Borgstrom House, a historical site on Main Street North.
The Upsala Fire Department responded and was able to contain the fire to the attic area and put the fire out.
The sheriff’s office says the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined at this time. The Minnesota Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Morrison County with the investigation.
