The United States District Court in Minnesota has postponed all jury trials until 2021.
According to a release from the federal court, due to increases in COVID-19 cases in the state, all criminal and civil jury trials are postponed effective immediately.
Criminal trials that have not already commenced and all civil jury trial-specific deadlines are suspended until Jan 1, 2021.
The court will continue to monitor the most current statements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to the release.
