More than 113,000 Minnesotans now have invalid driver's licenses, instruction permits or ID cards, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety said Thursday.
Wednesday was the last day of the COVID-19 extension for licenses, permits and ID cards.
DPS said the 113,814 affected Minnesotans don't have to take any additional testing as long as the license expired less than a year ago and was in good standing prior to that.
Options are available to those who want to renew their expired card in-person or online.
