A Delta plane has made an emergency landing at Rochester International Airport

ABC affiliate KAAL-TV reports the Delta aircraft was en route from St. Louis heading to Minneapolis.

The airport said the plane safely landed around 7:20 a.m. with 39 passengers and four crew membes on board. No medical attention was needed.

A statement from SkyWest Airlines reported the plane, operating as a Delta Connection flight, diverted "due to a smoky odor in the cabin."

The statement went on to report, "The flight landed in Rochester without incident and passengers are en route to Minneapolis via bus."
