A Carver man has died after he was hit by a vehicle while biking in Dahlgren Township last month.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office said 66-year-old John Robert Dyste died from the injuries he suffered in the Aug. 31 crash.

Authorities said Dyste was biking north on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 40 where it transitions to CSAH 11. While he was crossing the intersection, a southbound vehicle driven by a 75-year-old woman turned left and struck him.

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis but later died, the sheriff's office said.
