Crews were at the scenes of two separate single-vehicle crashes in the metro area Tuesday morning.

KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said a rollover crash happened around 5 a.m. on southbound Interstate 35E near downtown St. Paul.

Smith said the driver was stuck in the vehicle and needed extrication help.

Smith said minor injuries were reported.

The crash cleared at about 5:30 a.m.

Then, Smith said another driver's vehicle crashed through a cable median barrier on eastbound Interstate 94 near Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Center.

Smith said she received reports the driver is OK, but that a Minnesota Department of Transportation crew had a difficult time extricating the driver from the vehicle because it was tangled in the cable.

The crash cleared at about 7 a.m.
