Child struck by vehicle while riding bike in Edina

A child was struck by a car while riding their bike in Edina Monday night.

According to a spokesperson with the city of Edina, the child was hit just after 6 p.m. in the area of 59th Street and Zenith Avenue. 


The child was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The driver is cooperating with the police at this time.
