Brooklyn Park Police open death investigation after 2 bodies found in car

The Brooklyn Park Police Department opened a death investigation after two bodies were found in a car Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Brooklyn Park police, officers were called on the report of a suspicious vehicle on the 6300 block of Zane Avenue. The caller believed that the vehicle had been there for several days and that there was a body inside.

When officers arrived at the scene at 4 p.m. Tuesday, they found a vehicle with two dead bodies inside. 

Police say there does not appear to be signs of foul play. 

The Hennepin County Crime Scene Investigation Unit and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene. The case is under investigation.
