The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified 45-year-old Victor Alfredo Abrego Gallegos as the motorcyclist who fatally crashed in Brooklyn Park Friday.

According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, at 11:14 p.m. officers responded to a crash report at Highway 252 and Humboldt Avenue North.

The crash involved only Abrego Gallegos, and police found him dead at the scene. Their initial investigation indicated that the vehicle had struck a traffic signal pole.

Abrego Gallegos died from multiple blunt force injuries and the medical examiner ruled his death an accident.
