Bloomington police provide Christmas toys for family in need

A mother and her young son will have a very special Christmas thanks to the Bloomington Police Department.
Melissa Thompson has been out of work while her 3-year-old son recovers from a recent open-heart surgery.
Without any money to buy presents, Bloomington police stepped in to help Melissa by including her son in the department’s toy drive.
