An alternative to traditional burial and cremation services is expanding.

The 112-acre property in Scandia called Better Place Forest is opening up new sections within the conservation memorial forest.

People can have their ashes placed under trees in the protected forest.

The co-founder and CEO says it's an alternative to a cemetery, a natural place for people to visit their loved ones who have died.
