Bear caught jaywalking on freeway in Coon Rapids

A bear was caught illegally jaywalking on the shoulder of Highway 10 near where it meets Highway 610 in Coon Rapids Tuesday.
A city truck was tracking the bear's movements.
The COVID-19 pandemic is causing fewer people to be out and about which in turn is leading more wild animals into populated areas, according to experts.
It is unknown if the bear was cited for its offense.
