3 injured in 3 separate Minneapolis shootings

Three people are injured early Saturday morning from three separate shootings in Minneapolis. 

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the first incident happened at 2:22 a.m., officers responded to a business in the 2600 block of Lyndale Avenue South on a report of shots fired. 

Police said the suspect exchanged gunfire with an employee then fled before officers arrived. 

The suspect later showed up at a hospital in Shakopee for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Police said the suspect was later transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.

The second incident happened at 3:09 a.m. at the 2600 block of University Avenue Southeast when officers responded to a gunshot wound report at North Memorial Medical Center. Officers spoke to the victim; a man believed to be in his 20s suffering from a superficial gunshot wound to the extremity. 

The last incident happened at 3:17 a.m. when officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of St. Mary's Avenue and Delaware Street Southeast.  

Officers arrived and located a man, believed to be in his late teens, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers perform aid and wound management. The victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance in critical condition. 

No one is in custody for these incidents and no further information is available at this time for all three incidents.
