1 injured in Brooklyn Park stabbing overnight

Authorities say one person was injured following a stabbing in Brooklyn Park overnight. 

According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, officers were called close to midnight on the report of a stabbing on the 800 block of 73rd Avenue North. 


When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed several times in the neck. 

Officer learned that the suspect had fled the scene before they arrived. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital for emergency care, according to police.
