1 injured after shooting in Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis

One victim is injured following a shooting Saturday night in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.
According to police spokesman John Elder, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 10:44 p.m. on Lagoon Avenue between Girard and Hennepin avenues.
Police found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and is expected to survive.
The incident remains under investigation.
