Minnesota Moment: Free ice cream offered at Apple Valley home during Fourth of July

Nothing brings neighbors together like some free ice cream.

Jan Cassada and her family are five years into a growing Fourth of July tradition. They make gallons of ice cream and then invite neighbors over.


The event started as a challenge to do something nice for others, without expecting anything in return.
