Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis has made it clear there are superheroes in scrubs working inside.
Artist Shane Anderson and his assistant, Matt Hintz, were seen creating some art on the sidewalks outside of the hospital.
Nurses and other staff at Allina Health get a lot of their meals at the Midtown Global Market. The Market wanted to say thank you by delivering free meals, a huge gift basket, and a giant, chalk art 'Thank You' card outside that nobody could miss when in the area.
"My style is very bold and bright and colorful, happy. So we really wanted to celebrate the day with this piece," said Anderson. "It's National Nurses Day so that's kind of what this piece is all about."
Shane called the chalk art mural "Superheroes in Scrubs."
Shane and Matt worked 10.5 hours on Wednesday to get it done.
