Shriners Healthcare for Children cited highway access, area amenities and the opportunity to design and build out as reasons for the move.

"Current healthcare trends, such as more outpatient-oriented care, required us to adjust our delivery model to more accurately reflect today's environment," Roger Robinson, chairman of the Board of Governors for Shriners Healthcare for Children-Twin Cities, said in a statement.

Shriners Healthcare for Children is currently located on East River Parkway in Minneapolis.
