The man whose donation originally helped establish the Melrose Center at Park Nicollet is now donating $18.7 million to continue to expand eating disorder treatment there.

A release said Ken Melrose's donation will be used for two primary purposes: Establishing the Kendrick B. Melrose Leadership and Excellence Endowment Fund, which helps members of the community receive treatment at Melrose Center, and supporting expansion and growth projects at Melrose Center's main campus and satellite locations.
