Inside Your Health: Screening for Colon and Rectal Cancers

The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 135,000 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with colon or rectal cancer and more than 50,000 people will die from the disease in 2017.

But experts say that if everyone got screened and treated, 80 percent of these cancers could be prevented.
