Thursday is expected to be a bit more cloudy than the beginning of the week, which could lead to some light rain and snow, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Dahl forecasts that the high temperature will be in the mid-40s again; however, an increase in cloud cover may make it cool enough for some light rain and snow.

The current models do not predict much snow or rain, but there might be just enough to cause a few roads to get slick, mostly in the northern and central parts of the state.

More sun and warmth returns Friday with temperatures reaching the high 40s before a blast of heat comes for the weekend. Expect a high of 58 degrees Saturday with a low of only 44. Sunday will be even warmer with a high of 64 degrees.
