After a cool Friday, this weekend won’t be any better.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said Saturday will be slightly warmer with temps in the mid to upper 50s and lows in the 30s.

However, rain is expected to develop in the afternoon.

Sunday will be even cooler, with highs in the upper 40s, and conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy with some slight precipitation possible in the morning.

So overall, not a great weekend to get outside for Mother’s Day Weekend or the fishing opener.

Fortunately, warmer weather looks to return next week.
