Sun Country Airlines to offer health care workers free flights
Minnesota-based Sun Country Airlines announced Thursday it would offer free flights to health care workers who are assisting in the fight against COVID-19.
According to the airline, health care workers are able to take advantage of the offer through April.
"During these unprecedented times, we want to do what we can to help the response efforts by providing travel options for the heroic healthcare workers on the front lines," said Sun Country Airlines CEO Jude Bricker. "Our community has supported us for over 35 years, and we're proud to take this opportunity to give back."
Workers who need to travel using a Sun Country route are asked to email HealthcareFlights@suncountry.com with a photocopy of their work badge and verification of which hospital or organization they will be traveling to support.
