Special agents arrest Rochester woman on charges related to US Capitol attack

A Rochester woman was arrested Thursday morning in connection with "criminal acts" at the U.S. Capitol in January, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Minneapolis branch.

According to the FBI Minneapolis, 39-year-old Victoria C. White was arrested by special agents on federal charges, including entering a restricted building, violent and disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice or Congress.

The criminal complaint and statement of facts, released late Thursday, allege that White pushed her way to the front of the crowd during the riots, assaulted Metropolitan Police officers, and breached the front entrance.

Federal documents include pictures and screengrabs from surveillance video, highlighting who prosecutors say is White breaching an area she did not have access to. According to the complaint, she was arrested on Jan. 6 but was later released.

Her Facebook profile shows she works at a restaurant in Rochester that recently had its license suspended for violating the governor’s pandemic-related executive order limiting in-person dining.
