Right now, hospitals and clinics are forced to do as much as possible from a distance.

At HealthPartners, they are not only discovering that is working, and in some cases, what is actually working better.

"This is not going away," said Dr. Annie Ideker at the HealthPartners Clinic in Arden Hills.

Dr. Ideker says many of her patients are discovering they prefer video appointments compared to in-person ones.

"It's incredibly convenient for patients. They don't have to take time off work, stand in line or sit in a waiting room to see their doctor," she said.

HealthPartners has done more than 70,000 video appointments since March 19. In a recent survey, 95% of patients said they would recommend their experience.
