A Minneapolis firefighter has been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to a release from the Minneapolis Fire Department.

The department said it worked with the Minnesota Department of Health to trace the timeline and the firefighter's contacts. The department concluded that no additional measures need to be taken to stop possible exposure.

Prior to the diagnosis, the fire department has taken a number of steps to limit exposure to firefighters and members of the public.
