6 teens hurt in overnight Ham Lake crash

Six teenagers were hurt in a crash overnight in Ham Lake.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday on Xylite Street North, near 169th Avenue.

A preliminary investigation revealed the six teens, all age 17, were in the same vehicle.

Officials said they were speeding and crashed into a tree.

Four teens left the scene by ambulance and two others were flown to the hospital.
