2 arrested in connection to downtown Minneapolis stabbings

Police say two female suspects have been arrested in connection to a number of stabbing incidents in downtown Minneapolis that occurred Tuesday.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers were called just after 11 a.m. to the report of a stabbing in Loring Park. The victim in the incident suffered injuries that were not considered to be non-life-threatening.

A few minutes later, officers were called to the 100 block of Hennepin Avenue on the report of another stabbing. Police say the man who was stabbed suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Police were able to arrest a female suspect who they say was the same suspect involved in the stabbing at Loring Park.

Police were called again at 12:30 p.m. on the report of a stabbing on the 100 block of Grant Street West. A man was injured but declined medical attention.

Officers arrested a woman in connection to the incident. Police said that stabbing is not connected to the two stabbings that happened earlier in the day.
