Woodbury Police rescue bald eagle found injured on the side of the road

After receiving calls about a bald eagle in need of assistance, the Woodbury Police Department sprang into action to help the country’s national bird.
The call was placed on Saturday, with reports of the injured eagle on Woodbury Drive, unable to take flight.
Officer Andrew Mason responded to the call and was able to safely take the bird and deliver it to the Minnesota Raptor Center to be evaluated and treated.
