Wisconsin man arrested for 11th drunken driving offense after crash

A Wisconsin man was arrested Sunday night for intoxicated driving after a motorcycle crash in Polk County.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says troopers responded to a reported motorcycle crash east of Clear Lake at around 7:44 p.m.

There, authorities found a 58-year-old Osceola man being helped by medical personnel.

As troopers investigated, they smelled intoxicants coming from the man. They then learned the man’s driver’s license was suspended and he had 10 prior intoxicated driving charges.

The man was airlifted to a hospital due to the severity of his injuries but was also arrested for his 11th intoxicated driving offense.

The crash remains under investigation.
